High Contrast Photo

The bottom one is my final copy.

I used lots of new effects to create a gritty, over processed photo.

First, I duplicated the background layer and applied the High Pass Filter.

This could sharpen only the edges of objects, so I set the radius to 30 pixels.

After High pass Filter, the image was little gray.

Then I changed the blend mode to hard light.

This mode was even greater degree than Overlay mode.

I duplicated the layer again and changed opacity to fine-tune the result.

Finally, I created the new layer with fill 50% gray and applied the Noise Filter.

The noise gave a grainy appearance to the image.

This was the short project. but I used various effects to my image.
