Inner you Project

This is my Inner you Project copy.

At first, I opened the sidewalk background and my full size image.

I used quick selection tool to get my body.

Then, I opened my silihoutte image.

My silihoutte image is a guitarist.

I like guitarists and I want to learn it.

I made a new channel(red copy) and duplicated it.

Then, I chose distort>displace> to displace the silhoutte.

I used warp tool to transform my silihoutte.

Then, I made my silihoutte copy.

I added ineer shadow to my first silihoutte and changed opacity to 30% to my copy.

I changed blend mode to overlay to both of them.

Finally, the silihoutte was like inner me.

Then, I added text, "Rock'n roll star".

Because, I want to learn a guitar and drum like a rock star.

I am a big fan of rock stars.

I resterized the text layer and used free transform tool.

Finally I changed black & white color.

Displacement Map

This is my displacement map copy.

First, I opened channels palette and duplicate channel.

It was easy because it was like composition silhouttes step.

However, I was confused little because I couldn't see RGB channels in my document.

But I got that I should restore the display on our brown, orginal document.

I need to read more carefully.

I learned how to use distort tool and blur tool.

Also, I learned how to "rasterize layer". I added text on a new layer and rasterized it.

The easiet part was blending part.

Finally, I chose overlay mode and duplicate the layer, added an inner shadow layer, and changed opacity.

All these steps are for making realistic texture.

It was short but I could learn blending part!

Silhouette_Combinging Vectors

This is my final crane copy.

At first, I learned how to expand the canvas.

I changed the canvas size so that I could open the multiple crane image.

It was easy adding vector shapes.

It took a little time to find layers icon in the options bar, but I just clicked shift key and dragged out

many shapes. It was like the tool in the adobe illustrator.

The hardest part was fill the shapes with the Bottom Photo and Top Photo.

I had difficulty in duplicating layer.

Now I learned how to use the vector mask thumbnail and activate another layer.

Composite_with_Silhouettes

This is my final copy.

First, I was quite confused because I didn't figure out the directions.

I selected inverse and made alpha selection.

I learned how to use Load selection tool and create new layers.

It was little tricky, but it was easy when I followed the steps.

Then, I created the room. I forgot to check colorize box so it turned out brown color.

So I learned  Hue/Saturation tool again and added a rough texture file.

The final copy of the room was so cool. I think creating the room was the easiest part.

The hardest part was use gradient tools.

It was first time to use Gradient tool on all four sides. I didn't understand gradient options in the bar so

it took a long time to understand it.

Fially, I added a text layer. I don't understand how I make smaller my 'the' text and gather it.

I learned and single row marquee tool.

Also, brushing man's hair part was hard. I selected brush tool and changed the adjustments tool

but it didn't work so it took a long time to figure out.

I like my final copy!

Montage

This is my montage copy.

I learned the Paintbrush tool, and layer masks buttons.

First, I laid the images out and added layer mask to begin from two images.

It was easy to use paintbrush tool. I just brushed around the person.

However, I laid out third images( bottom, left corner), and I brushed bottom, middle person

to delete third images' head.

When I brushed images, it appears only first image so I need to create a more detailed look.

Vintage polaroid

This is my vintage polaroid copy.

First, I used the cardboard texture to make the background.

I learned how to change the layer mode and multiply the texture.

I think it was little easy becaue it is easy to find and change the layer.

Then I used fillter tool to make the white background.

It was little hard to find particular effects, but it was easy to change the stroke and make effects.

I learned adjustments tool.

I just clicked adjustments and set the hue/saturation.

The hardest part was making a real photo.

The color of my photo looks like little different from original one.

Making three copies was little tricky and hard.

The top of the layer always see the first.

Also, i don't understand how to use text tools.

I need to learn how to select layers and text tools.

I like my final copy!

Refine Soft Edges

The bottom one is my new dog.

First, I selected the dog using magic wand tool.

It was little hard to select the exact shape of the dog.

Then, I cliked refine edge tool and made my background white so that I could see dog better.

I made my new radius to 4 px and brushed smoothly along the line of the fur of the dog.

This part was easy because I just followed the line around the dog.

Finally, I made some adjustments to my background.

I clicked inverse so I can made some adjustments only to my background.

I clicked Hue and Saturation, and then changed the color, lightness.

This part was interesting.

I like my final dog. The sky is now matches to my new dog and the fur of the dog looks more smooth.

Vegi Head

This is my vegetable-and-fruit head.

I used the marquee tool, the lasso tool, magic wand tool to make this head.

The lasso tool was little difficult, but magic wand tool was easy.

It was hard to make this because the background is always locked.

Also, it was hard to edit something.

I had to use select, and deselect button.

I learned how to duplicate things. It was easy.

The hardest part was making a ear.

I chose deselect, so it was hard to make a copy and move a ear.
